Small-dose filling: what to include in your enquiry
Prepare a clear brief for small-dose liquid filling, stoppering and capping.
Bring the container and closure together
Provide bottle drawings or samples alongside the stopper, cap or crimp closure. Container dimensions and closure geometry affect handling, positioning and machine selection.
Specify your dosing requirements
State minimum and maximum fill volumes, the required tolerance and the properties of the liquid. Ask which dosing system is appropriate and how performance will be demonstrated using your product.
Define your process environment
For pharmaceutical applications, describe the required production environment, cleaning approach and qualification documentation. Do not assume that a filling machine by itself provides an aseptic process.
Connect the inspection and packaging steps
Describe any inspection, checkweighing, labeling and cartoning requirements. Agree the equipment interfaces and acceptance criteria before finalizing a line.
